Join us in making a difference in the lives of widows, persons with disabilities, survivors of sexual abuse, and children from low socio-economic groups.
Stop Hurting People Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded 14 years ago. Since its inception, our foundation has remained steadfast in its commitment to providing compassionate care to vulnerable groups, including displaced children, widows, abused women, and youths in need of rehabilitation from drugs and gang violence.
Over the years, our impact has been profound. Amid the Ebola outbreak, we delivered health talks, distributed face masks, and provided sanitizers throughout Nigeria. We've successfully rehabilitated over 500 youths from the streets, facilitated free healthcare checks, and conducted sensitization campaigns in collaboration with more than 50 healthcare professionals. Additionally, we've awarded bursaries to over 1000 Nigerians during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our charitable initiatives extend to offering free health checks and medication; health lectures, food, clothing eye tests and glasses to hundreds of Nigerians, as well as organising regular trade teaching seminars for communities in need. Furthermore, through the Young Geniuses program founded by El-hannah , an extension of our outreach efforts, we equip, educate, and mentor children aged 5-16 in IT skills.
In the realm of media, the Stop Hurting People Foundation boasts a significant presence. Our flagship program, "Destiny Moments with Eunice," a widely watched TV show, resonates deeply with viewers across diverse demographics. Additionally, our virtual global mentorship conference, Fixing the Woman, has empowered women and girls worldwide, attracting a cumulative viewership of over 100,000. This conference serves as a pivotal platform for addressing crucial issues ranging from politics to mental health, with a specific focus on the needs of women and girls.
We have supported widows in gaining financial independence and emotional well-being.
Providing education and healthcare to more than 10,000 children from low socio-economic backgrounds.
Empowering women survivors of sexual abuse through advocacy and support services.
Ensuring inclusivity and support for persons with disabilities in accessing education and healthcare services.
